Foundation Pathway Courses
What do these courses cover?
The pathway courses are designed for individuals who are unclear about what career they want to follow and what it will involve e.g. Health and Social Care, working with children and young people in schools and colleges, supporting people through mentoring and counselling, and Education Professionals
Pathways include accreditation for Safeguarding. Safe Food Handing. Pandemic First Aid, Moving and Handling. Pathways support progression to level 2 and in some cases level 3.
Who is it suitable for?
Those in receipt of JSA or ESA (WRAG). Also suitable for individuals looking to change career and who do not have a level 2 qualification.
How is it assessed?
Through course work and external accreditation of some modules.
How long will it take to complete this course?
Depending of which course you choose it can be from 6 to 12 weeks.
Do you need to be working to take this qualification?
This is an introductory course, that does not include or require you to undertake work experience.
